Sydney's landmarkevent venue.
Monumental spaces. Meticulous events.
The Sydney Masonic Centre is a world-class, purpose-built event venue inside one of Australia's great brutalist landmarks — twelve fully accessible spaces in the heart of the CBD for conferences, gala dinners, weddings and everything between, for up to 550 guests.
What will you host?
From 550-delegate conferences to intimate boardroom sessions, every event runs on the same foundation: in-house catering, production-grade AV and a team that sweats the details.

Anchored by the 550-seat Grand Lodge auditorium and the 555 sqm Banquet Hall, with a triple-height marble arrival foyer and nine configurable rooms across three levels.

The auditorium every plenary deserves
A commanding two-storey tiered auditorium seating up to 550 delegates — one of the most dramatic plenary rooms in Sydney. Architectural timber, tiered seating and broadcast-grade AV built into the room itself.

Five of our rooms carry the names of the five classical orders of architecture — a quiet nod to the building's classical soul inside its brutalist shell.
A quick word on “brutalist” — it comes from béton brut, French for raw concrete, not “brutal”. It's the confident, sculptural architecture of the 1960s–70s: bold geometry, honest materials, and rooms with real presence. Ours is considered one of Sydney's finest examples.
Everything in-house. Nothing left to chance.
A landmark address
One of Sydney's most architecturally significant buildings, designed by Joseland Gilling — two minutes from Town Hall and Museum stations, in the heart of the CBD.
In-house catering
Our in-house culinary team designs conference menus, plated dining, buffets, canapés and wellness-focused options — food our clients' delegates rave about.
Production-grade AV
Panasonic 12,000-lumen laser projection, rigging infrastructure, 1 Gbps internet and a digital concierge for in-house support at your fingertips.
Fully accessible
All twelve spaces are fully accessible, and our events team plans inclusively from the first site visit to the final guest's departure.
One dedicated team
A single events team runs your venue, catering and AV — no juggling suppliers, no gaps between them, no surprises on the day.
Partner hotels nearby
Established hotel partnerships give your delegates convenient accommodation with exclusive discounts of 10–15% off best available rates.
