When SMC's renovation unveiled Level 4, it introduced an idea that still defines how the building works: rooms that combine into a self-contained 'centre within a centre'.
Remington and Northcott — each catering for up to 140–150 guests, designed around natural daylight with portal windows framing views over Sydney's south — can be booked individually or combined with the Boardroom and Rawson as breakouts and a dedicated registration area. Operable walls allow numerous formats, and organisers can expand to rooms on other levels as the program grows.
Combining is the point
The same logic scales across the building: Grand Lodge plenary + Banquet Hall dining + Marble Foyer registration on Level 1; five ground-floor rooms as a breakout cluster; Level 4 as a private conference floor. See the planning tools & resources page for the classic combinations with combined capacities.
